EBORIDIS LEGACY
Our legacy began in 1944 when the late Christos Emporidis discovered his passion for professional photography. At a time when the craft was still evolving in Greece, he was among the few who skillfully retouched photographic films by hand. His journey started on the beautiful island of Crete and later extended to Xanthi, Kavala, Kozani, and Veria. Photography was not just a profession for Christos — it was a lifelong passion that he lovingly passed on to his son, Dimitrios Emporidis.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Dimitrios began his career capturing couples and families in the parks of Veria. He later moved to Thessaloniki, where he worked as a full-time photographer at one of Greece’s most reputable photography labs.
In 1978, Dimitrios and his wife Antonia founded their own photography studio under the brand name Photo Pallas. Their son, Christos, grew up immersed in the craft, learning the art of photography from an early age. By 18, Christos was already a key member of the business, specializing in wedding and baptism photography and videography.
The torch of artistic photography has been passed down through generations, each building upon the dedication and expertise of the last. Today, Christos’s sons, Dimitrios and Georgios, lead the family business with unwavering commitment and respect for their craft and clients. Aware of the responsibility their heritage carries, their mission remains clear: to provide exceptional photography services that honor and preserve their clients’ most precious moments with care and professionalism.
Under the dedicated leadership of Dimitrios and Georgios, Photo Pallas has earned 11 international film awards and has seen the brothers serve as judges in photography competitions across more than 20 countries — a testament to their skill, reputation, and contribution to the art of films and photos.
